David Nicholson Mares Only Hurdle

In 2008 There will be a 7th race on the Friday of the Cheltenham Festival for the first time since it moved to a four day format.

The David Nicholson Mares Hurdle is a new Grade 2 race run over a distance of 2 miles, 4½ furlongs.

The David Nicholson Mares Hurdle will count towards the Order of Merit series of races.
