Course Details
Flat:
Left-handed, U-shaped course of 1m4f with steep undulations. 3 1/2f
run-in with pronounced camber, initially downhill, rising in final furlong.
Races up to 8 1/2f essentially sharp, particularly on 5f track, which
is the fastest in the world.
Going Racing at Epsom Racecourse
By Car:
Epsom Downs is two miles south of Epsom on the B290 Tadworth Road. If
travelling on the M25 take either junction 8 or 9 where AA signposts
direct you to the course. You will find coloured signage near to the
course directing you to the appropriate car park - we recommend you
book car-parking in advance for the Vodafone Derby Meeting.
By Train:
From London Waterloo or London Victoria take a train to Epsom where
buses and taxis will take you to the course. Alternatively Tattenham
Corner Station is a 1/2 mile walk from the course.
